Bladen County Tour of Churches

This Christmas, the Elizabethtown-White Lake Area Chamber of Commerce has planned a county-wide tour of churches of varying denominations throughout Bladen County. The ticketed event will be from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on November 28th and will allow local churches to showcase their church buildings and the history behind them.

Participants are responsible for navigating themselves to and from each location, using the map provided with the event tickets. However, guides will be present upon arrival to talk about church history and show visitors around.

Not only will this event give people the opportunity to learn about and visit local churches, but to also take part in a fundraiser for The Empty Stocking Fund. This fund is a community partnership of the Bladen Journal, Leinwands, and the Bladen County Department of Social Services that shares collected funds with the less fortunate children of the county.

By purchasing a ticket for the 2020 Bladen County Tour of Churches, participants are making both the less fortunate children and their holiday just a little more special. We encourage you to make a day of attending the first of what we hope will become an annual event, driving around the county, and visiting our local shops and restaurants.
