Mountain to Sea Trail: Section #13 of the statewide hiking trail stretches across Bladen County from White Oak to Singletary Lake State Park.
WHITE LAKE AREA
White Lake: Resort town built around a Carolina Bay Lake. Home to several triathlons and Ironmen competition. Water sports, boating, fishing, and swimming.
White Lake Multi-use Trail: Paved path around a portion of White Lake used for running, walking and biking.
Singletary Lake State Park: 6707 NC-53, Kelly. Kayak, canoe and fish on this Carolina Bay. Group camping, hiking trails.
Tory Hole Park: 800 South Ute Ave., Elizabethtown. Site of the historic Battle of Elizabethtown. Disc Golf course, walking trail, scenic overlook and boat access.
Browns Creek Bike Park and Nature Trail: E. Broad St., Elizabethtown. Miles of challenging mountain bike trails that are good for hiking too. Ramps, jumps.
Brown’s Landing Lock & Dam #2: E. Broad St., Elizabethtown. Fishing piers and boat ramps with access to the Cape Fear River. Picnic Shelter.
Jones Lake State Park: 4117 NC 242, Elizabethtown. Swimming, kayaking, and boating on this Carolina Bay. Hiking trails around the Lake and out to Saulters Lake. Camping.
Turnbull Educational Forest: 4803 Sweet Home Church Rd, Elizabethtown. Educational display on Naval Stores and forest products. Hiking trails. Picnic pavilion.
Bladen Lakes State Forest: 4470 NC-242, Elizabethtown. Hiking, biking, horseback riding, hunting, stargazing, birding and primitive camping.
Greene’s Pond: West Broad St, Elizabethtown NC: Fishing, kayaking, canoeing, trail walks, and camping.
Cape Fear ATV Park: 1754 US-701, Elizabethtown. Motorcross track and 30 miles of marked trails. Camping.
