LOCATION
AND CLIMATE
Bladen County is located in the southeastern section of North Carolina in what
is known as the Coastal Plains. The terrain is flat, with altitudes rarely above
120 feet. It has 879 square miles of approximately 30,800 people. Elizabethtown
has a population of about 4,000 people. White Lake is a body of water in the
county containing some 1,200 acres and is a commercial resort area.
Bladen County has an average temperature of 63 degrees and an average rainfall
of 49.06 inches. |
