Harmony Hall Plantation
Harmony Hall is the circa 1768 home of Revolutionary War officer Colonel James A. Richardson. The 12,000 acre tract of land sits on the Cape Fear River in White Oak, 15 minutes from Elizabethtown. The property is open to the public on Sunday afternoons from 2 until 4 PM. Special events include colonial lifestyle demonstrations by volunteers and seasonal festivities.

Harmony Hall Plantation
Visit the stately home of Revolutionary War officer Colonel James A. Richardson. Built prior to 1768, the home sits on 12,000 acres along the Cape Fear River. Harmony Hall is open on Saturdays from 10 AM until 2 PM and on Sundays from 2 PM until 4PM. Period craftsmen may be observed making soap, cooking outdoors and blacksmithing. Tours of the house and grounds can be arranged. Special seasonal events include a picnic and exhibits on the first Saturday in May and a holiday open house during the first week of December.
